Another Reminder to be Careful on the Roads
This is old news by about a month but I’ve been meaning to post it up here as a reminder to everyone to be careful on the roads.
The girl spoke of in this news story was involved in an accident where her Jeep Liberty struck a median and rolled. The accident is very similar to what happened to me in my Subaru Impreza however, I think, due to the low center of gravity my car had I was able to keep the car right side up.
This is not to say that SUVs are bad vehicles, there may have been other factors in the accident that the news is not making people aware of but it is easier to flip one of those over in this type of accident due to the higher center of gravity.
Everyone, please remember, drive your vehicle as it was meant to be driven and be careful on the roads. There are plenty of bad drivers out there that are more than willing to turn their vehicles into weapons. Be careful and be safe.
